Whitewood Acres is our private home property in Princeton, Minnesota, located near the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. It is the heart behind everything we are building, from our luxury dog boarding experience to future animal based experiences here on the property.

The DogHaus at Whitewood Acres is our calm, home style luxury dog boarding experience, rooted in professional care, consistent routines, and a peaceful country setting.

Owned by Malia, a Veterinary Technician with nearly 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine, The DogHaus specializes in low volume, relationship based dog boarding where each guest receives individualized care in a calm, structured, home style environment.

​

Stays currently take place in our home setting here at Whitewood Acres and will eventually transition into our expanded space later this summer. The expanded space will maintain the same familiar, home style atmosphere families know and trust, while offering a dedicated environment designed for comfort, safety, rest, enrichment, and individualized care.

As Whitewood Acres continues to grow, we are thoughtfully expanding into additional animal based experiences, including small group classes, hands on pony experiences, and specialty wellness services in the future.

 

Our mission remains the same: to create meaningful, high quality interactions between animals and our community.

Located just 15 minutes north of Big Lake, MN near the beautiful Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, our peaceful property offers space, safety, and a true retreat style setting.
